Locally Owned eGIX and DSLindiana Join Forces
- DSLindiana expands product line through eGIX, Inc.

Carmel, Ind.– Steve Johns, president and CEO of
Carmel-based eGIX Inc., today announced eGIX and NetSolutions,
Inc. d/b/a DSLindiana, Inc. have formed a new company,
DSLindiana, an LLC, that will serve as the medium to provide
voice, data and IP communication solutions to DSLindiana’s
business users.
DSLindiana, Inc. has aggressively maintained a share of the
industry as a broadband service provider since its founding in
1999, and will now have the ability to offer its customers an
all inclusive communication solution.
According to Johns, the new company, even though an affiliate
of eGIX, will operate under the direction of the same management
team with Charles Reed as President. The new company will
continue to focus on the multi-tenant office space market
providing the BuildingNET broadband product line in addition to
eVOLVE Voice-over IP Business Solutions and other local
telephone service offerings by eGIX.
eVOLVE Business Solutions are
designed to seamlessly integrate into any phase of the business
lifecycle since they work in concert with existing phone systems
and equipment. The eVOLVE portfolio includes an Integrated T-1
Solution, Digital Voice (PRI) Service and an IP Communications
Solution.
eGIX has provided the majority of
DSLindiana’s data transport services over the last two years and
this transaction was a clear next step benefiting the growth of
both companies.
